After another successful season in 2017, the Greythorn Park NAB AFL Auskick program will return BIGGER and BETTER in 2019.
This year's Program begins on 27th April
During the off-season we have continued the process of integrating our Auskick outfit into the Greythorn Falcons Football Club. The integration will be virtually invisible to Auskick players and families with the footy club simply stepping up to take on the admin and support functions for us. This will allow all our fantastic coaches to concentrate on having fun sessions with the players and developing their footy skills as best possible.
The club has an excellent relationship with all the coaches and coordinators of the Auskick group and together, we are looking to combining the activities of both organisations wherever possible.
The coordinators of the Auskick centre are endeavouring, together with the Falcons Committee to bring all the fun and energy of Auskick into “the Falcons nest”. Along the way we will remove any duplication of effort and workload for our volunteers and strengthen and broaden our offering to the kids and the community.
Based on the hearty response to our 2016 level 0 Coaching intro late last year, we also believe that 2019 will welcome a fresh group of keen dad’s (and hopefully our very first coaching mum!).
Integrating with the Falcons will also provide many more opportunities for Parent’s (especially Mum’s!) to get involved if they wish.
The club has a renewed focus on Girls Footy, Multiculturalism and offering both contact and non-contact forms of AFL.
Please be sure to select an area you would like to help out with when registering on the Auskick web-site, or just stick your hand up and talk to one of the coaches at the ground when regular sessions get underway in April.
